My Expertise
My approach is backed by a rigorous academic foundation. I hold three degrees:
B.A. in Elementary Education
M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction
M.S. in Educational Leadership
Orton-Gillingham Associate Level (In Progress starting June 2026)
I am also currently completing my Associate Level Certification in Orton-Gillingham, an evidence-based approach, engineered to remediate word recognition and spelling deficits in students with dyslexia and other language-based learning differences. My background is focused on systematically rebuilding the literacy foundation to restore academic confidence.
My Philosophy
I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Every session I design is:
Evidence-Based: Utilizing the Science of Reading and proven multi-sensory strategies.
Student-Centered: Leveraging your child’s unique strengths and interests.
Encouraging: Creating a safe space where it’s okay to make mistakes and grow.
I specialize in intensive literacy intervention for students requiring a precise, multi-sensory approach. Moving beyond standard academic support, I implement the Orton-Gillingham method to diagnostically identify and bridge phonological gaps. With advanced clinical training beginning in June 2026, I provide the targeted instruction necessary to systematically transition your child from reading frustration to mastery.
